My name is Weldon Robert Jeffrey, and I take immense pride in being the owner and developer behind this inspiring venture. Since 1972, I have been on a remarkable journey of importing treasures from Peru, Bolivia, and Guatemala, leaving a trail of development and empowerment for the indigenous people who have been an integral part of my incredible ventures.

Before fair trade and eco-friendly practices became widely recognized, I was already committed to working in a manner that respected both people and the planet. It is my firm belief that sustainable business practices can create positive change in the world.

In 1983, I laid the foundation for the renowned Cotton Salsa brand, headquartered in Atlanta. For nearly three decades, we crafted exceptional sweaters that found their way into the hearts of countless customers. Today, you can still find our cherished Cotton Salsa products thriving in the resale market.

Another milestone in my journey was the ownership of the Alpaca Connection at the Mall of America. From 1992 to 2019, we brought the warmth and elegance of alpaca products to a broader audience, enriching lives with each cozy purchase.

Now, let’s talk about our present and future. This website showcases the work of four exceptional producer families, who pour their heart and soul into creating the most delightful toys you’ll ever lay eyes on. In the “Our Producers” section, you’ll have the chance to learn more about these talented and dedicated families.

These producer groups hail from indigenous Peruvian backgrounds, with generations of heritage rooted on the island of Amantani, nestled in the center of Lake Titicaca.
